She's absolutely correct! Nigerians just have a lot of things backward here, especially in entertainment. No celebrity, I repeat, no celebrity you see on any red carpet event in the US pays for their gowns and suits! Why? Because they're advertising and promoting the designer! People then go out and are intrigued by the style and shop that designer! That's how they make their money!! The red dress Michelle Obama wore, sold out in 30 minutes! Google it! Designers send their latest design, style, etc for celebs to wear, either on loan or for free, so they get the publicity and make their money. But noooooo, so called designers here simply just don't get that. Study your Western counterparts please! You see it's working for them! That's why a lot of "designers" don't go too far outside of Nigeria here.
